- This website uses no analytics, no tracking and sets no cookies of its own.
- It is served through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the page and protect against abuse.
- Links to Amazon, eBay and AliExpress are affiliate links; the shop may set cookies when you click.
- The Etherbulb firmware on your bulb talks only to your own network (and, for the clock, to an NTP server). It sends nothing to us.

Hosting and server logs
etherbulb.com is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, with EU data centres) to a server operated by us. Cloudflare processes connection data (IP address, request, user agent) to deliver the site and to block attacks; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Our own web server keeps short-lived access logs for affiliate redirects (path, country code, time, no IP) for up to 14 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in a secure, working website.

Product links marked "Ad" lead to Amazon, eBay or AliExpress with a partner code. If you buy there, we may receive a commission; the price for you does not change. The shop's privacy policy applies as soon as you are on its site. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
The firmware
Etherbulb runs on your bulb and serves its dashboard inside your Wi-Fi only. It connects to your router for an NTP time sync and, if you use the optional firmware-update check, to etherbulb.com to read a version file (no personal data is sent). It does not collect, store or transmit any information about what it receives.
